05 marquis upgrades?

How can l get a cop/limo chip hp upgrade? l drove for a limo company and there marquis had more power then my 05 stock marquis! Buddy told me to get a sct tuner but wanted to see what else l can get for tuner that were cheaper? What would you recommend for upgrades? Thanks in advance

Get the airbox from a 2005 or newer police car and the tune to go with it.
If you wanna drop more money into it you can get a new rear gear, your car most likely is a 2.73 rear so it's better on gas but doesn't get off the line.
Headers and exhaust are fun, supercharger helps it feel more powerful.
If you get the airbox off a police car, get the other side of the exhaust too.

I have a 05 MGM LSE it came with 3.27 gears and compared to your 2.73 it's a world of difference. Just that alone will give you the feeling you are wanting. It also has and you probably already know this dual exhaust. Marauder had 3.55 gears but that's low. My car when I turn off the OD on the street feels like it wants the OD on. 3.27 is what the highway patrol used. It's the perfect balance for street & highway in my opinion. When I accelerate on the highway it will mostly stay on 4th or OD and it's got plenty of power. If I punch it, it will drop down and it's a screamer! But I don't need to.
