Hi, I'm going to change transmission fluid in my 2001 Excursion, I bought this Ex several months ago with a 103,898 miles, all of the fluids had been changed ,it has a fairly new trans in it, but I didn't get to talk with previous owner to get any information as to his upkeep of the Ex. it had some maintenance records but not what I was looking for pertaining to the trans. I would like to get some opinions and experience in this. I was going to have the trans filter and ATF changed but just drop the pan and don't have it pumped out so I wouldn't run the risk of pumping any debris in to the valve body.
