Recently my 2001 Crown Victoria has been stalling while I'm driving it. It started out when I was on the interstate and all of the sudden there was no response from the engine while the gas pedal was pushed to the floor, the car lost all engine power and coasted to a stop. It eventually would start back up a few hours later. Ever since then it does the same thing but would run for about 30 miles or about 30 minutes then loose engine power and die. Again it would start back up a couple hours later. Now I can get a couple miles out of my car before it looses all engine power. Ive replaced the Camshaft and Crank Sensors today also fuel filter was replaced recently aswell. Car wont start. It started out giving me the Crankshaft Sensor code so I replaced it, then after it was replaced it thru me the Camshaft sensor code. I replaced that sensor and the camshaft sensor code stays on. There is also another code that its registering but wont provide me with the actual code Ill try using a better code reader tomorrow. Any ideas on whats going on? Thanks you

Mine does the same thing ,I've replaced the crankshaft sensor is all I've done ,, my code reader says its smthing to do with emissions ,but I haven't had time to check it yet ,,Just my 2 cents !

So, what happened to the car? Did the problem go away?

Mine does something similar these days. As I'm driving, it feels like someone's tapping on the brake pedal lightly and quickly. It's like the car goes through a series of hiccups.
It happened again tonight on the freeway and then the Check Engine light came on.
I pulled over, check the engine oil and whatnot, everything was fine, so I drove back home with no problem.
Any guesses?
Thank you
