I have a 1954 Ford F100 that sits on a 1994 Crown Victoria frame / drivetrain. I'd like to say that I am capable of such engineering myself, but I purchased the truck that way.

I wanted a classic truck with modern running gear. It is a work in progress, but runs well. I'll be browsing the site for information and probably asking a lot of odd questions.

My first priority will be raising the vehicle up a bit. The previous owner cut the rear springs to lower it, I believe stock will be way too high. At this point, I cannot tell if the front springs have been cut without removing them. If anyone knows how high the oil pan is from the ground, that might give me a good idea if they cut the springs.

I'll post some pictures once I figure out how to do so.

Thanks,
AJ
