i have a 2006 p71 with 70k bought it a while back so whats happening i go around a corner let off the gas get back on it lite pedal the transmission slips then let of and back on a few times then it will engage i
i have not serviced it yet or have had it checked its an extra car the fluid level is fine fluid seems a somewhat dirty any suggestions thanks

That can be a fluid issue, Ford ended up recommending fluid replaced with better synthetic fluid in the vics after issues appeared with the typical cheap stuff. If it was serviced with that cheaper fluid it can cause some issues. Also the Trans in the vics still uses vacuum to shift make sure you do not have any vacuum leaks.

Ford has not used a vacuum modulator in many years. No vacuum hose to the transmission. Check the fluid to see if it is red. If not red I would definitely drain the fluid and replace the filter. The converter cannot be drained. The fluid change may help.

got to get it serviced to me the problem with fluid exchange machicne they dont remove the pan
been so hot here this week to even think about doing it, its not an everyday car have not driven it much
