hello! where would a potential Excursion buyer (me!) begin the research to understand which model is most reliable? so far it has been explained to me that the 2003 7.3L diesel is best model made. what is this chip issue? what are the main things to look for when considering buying one? there is an excellent local Ford diesel mechanic and maybe that\\'s where i start but if there were any threads in this massive forum that anyone can point me to it sure would be appreciated!!
