I just bought an 04 crown with 97k it has sat for like two years before I got it. The only way I could get it start and run was buy pouring gas down the throttle body then she runs great and starts intill the next morning I have good fuel pressure at the rail I have bypassed the fpdm and the pump spun on high as it should I need help before I throw parts and money at pretty girl

I found this to give you an idea what to try. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1141406-2001-4-6l-only-starts-with-starting-fluid.html

One thing I'm thinking is if either the filter is clogged and or the pump is showing good pressure but is on the verge of going bad. A couple other things are check connectors for the maf and iat try electronic contact cleaner on them and maf element. Have you tried holding the gas pedal down a slight amount when starting.
