04 Crown has code and does anyone ever have this

I have a 2004 Vic day hat has 126000 on it and while driving it stopped running but before it was a sputter like it had a bad miss but still ran and after that drove a few miles and at 40 mph just stopped running as if someone pulled the key out. Could not get running after that. Checked for spark and there is none. No fuel pump sound working. Had a friend look at it and he said You have lost connection with the powerTerran control module on your crown Victoria code U1026. Has anyone ever had this problem and if so where did you go to fix this problem. Not sure where to find it. Thank you.
