My original bulbs had all the orange 90 pealed off so I figured I would just get switchback led since the lenses are clear. They are white then blink amber off amber off then back to white when I have the parking lights or headlights on. However if the lights are turned off they amber with a white quick flash every so often mixed in. They blink at normal speed to fast hyper blink however as I have resistors installed. They are on the striped wire and black wire I did try the brown instead of stripe and even stripe and brown instead of black. Any combination either had the same result or hyper flashed. So I put it back to the stripe and black wire. Is this just the way switchbacks work when used this way or is there a problem with the led's. I really don't want to go back to halogens as all the ones I see are amber coated not actual colored glass. So with the clear lens you'll see as it will inevitably start to peel well before the filament actually fails. |
