ok heres my question.
we have all seen the chrome aftermarket air filter housing kits, and we all know they are sucking up hot air. so is it better to run your stock air filter housing with a slip in air filter like a K&N? also has anyone used one of those tornados on their broncs? |

My thoughts are you get a larger or greater volume of air with the open-filter type breathers than the restrictive factory ones. The best set-up is a cold-air intake that's not restricted, like my shaker!!! A good filter like the K&N makes any set-up better. I've heard mostly negative remarks from people that bought the Tornado gimmick |

I think so, yes! I ran just an open air filter with a chromne cover for about a year before I did the shaker. It was definitely better than the factory set-up. |

I used a K&N universal filter, since they don't make one for the '84 351W H.O. and I still have that filter in my shaker kit. |
