bronco brakes please reply

are they all as bad as mine?? my dad had a 78 his dad bought new and he said it was just as bad my 88 has new pads new shoes new drums(old brakes wore a grove) and new hardware kit. It stoped like a sports car! (clue 1) but I had a rumbleing woobling kinda thing (techincal jargon) going on and it didnt roll when in drive and (clue 2) around 65 or so it shook and wanted to die and (clue three) it was eating up gas real bad. then (clue 4) it started pulling when braking to the left so pulled the drum and now I know what the problem was my rear passenger drum was hanging up!! but now that i fixed the hang up the brakes are crappy again why cant I have a happy median ? why cant It stop real well and not have anything go wrong? please tell me how your brakes are I want to know!!!

while I haven't actually pulled mine off to inspect em yet (only had the truck for a few weeks) I can't say I have any complaints about them. My rig sat for about a year before I bought it, but the drivers here are idiots and I have to use them in a hurry alot when getting cut off, etc. and she stops just fine, no noises, no pulling, not touchy, not soft...... maybe I just got real lucky??

my brakes have a very soft pedal. i know i have to do the rears but its way to soft. i have new pads up front and still soft. i dont drive mine to much so im not to worried.

My are soft it stops new pads shoes drums and all and still soft maybe its the bronco way
