Recently been beating my head over what my parent's Aerostar came with!
It is a fully loaded Aerostar XLT...power seats, inflating lumbar support in front seats, digital dash, trip computer, premium sound system...But the people who ordered it, ordered it with a peculiar engine and drivetrain configuration:
3.0L V6, and a 5 Speed manul transmission.
I am currently assuming that the transmission, and rear axle were shared with the Ranger or Bronco of the similar year ('86), but well...I am lazy and was wondering if anyone knew the specifics of the transmission and axle...if possible of course.
If my assumptions are wrong however, please do correct me.
