Hi,

I recently purchased a 96 Ford Crown Vic taxi. I bought it knowing it had a bad starter. What I would like to know is how do I get to all of the starter bolts? I can see the two at the bottom but cant easily see the top two. I know that one of the lower bolts comes through from the trans side. Are the upper bolts on the trans side also? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Tony,

Fortunatley, I have not had this problem with my Vic so I cannot give you a specific answer.

I would recommend posting this in the "4.6L" forum on www.crownvic.net or on www.crownvic.us.

You should be able to obtain a satisfactory answer there.
