Ok my dad gave me this vehicle..let me refraze that, he gave me this SWEET PIECE OF MACHINERY! heh any way the right side door window wont roll up. He says the...what did he call it... ahh some thin is like stripped, or some teeth are missing so it keeps skipping and wont roll up with out help (my hand). ANy one kno how i can fix this or where i can purchas this mistary part?

Ok my dad said it was the gear. But he said its so far back there we cant get to it. And he said that its behind the glass. Any one know how to solve this problem.

Get the window up. Remove the door panel. Use a peice of wood or something to support the glass so it doesn't fall when you remove the motor. Remove the motor but, BE CAREFUL the electric window arms are often spring loaded and will hurt you at the moment the motor is dislodged. Install the new or used motor. If it is a ford then it sounds like the nylon gear is stripped out. Just about any Ford window motor will interchange wether it is a car or truck. You should be able to find one in a junk yard pretty easily. You don't even have to replace the whole motor, just the nylon gear.
