Mounting racks to cap?

I was wondering if anybody has installed over head fishing rod racks in a Bronco Full size.
I have an 84 XLT and I want to install the berkley twist loc racks but I'm not sure what kind of fasteners to use and how to go about it so I don't have any leaks or ugly looking bolts sticking out of the cap top.

There's a dude on FullSizeBronco.com that installed some of those rod racks in his 84 Bronco, I think his handle is 84BeachBronco or something like that. IF you do a search in the forums there, you sholud find the post from 3-4 months ago.
