Hey guys, I'm new here. My name is Pete and I am asking for help.

I have a 1995 Ford F150 Super cab.

Anyways. my truck came with a Ford 8.8 Inch Dif with 308 gears. it has an AOD tranny and a 5.8L (351) engine. it also has rear ABS

Last night I decided to swap out the dif (it was howling a lot) for a 1976 Ford 9 Inch housing with 350 gears in it.

The conversion went really well, except for the fact that I have lost my speedometer and my O/D light is flashing. I also don't have ABS anymore but we were expecting that since the 9 Inch doesn't have ABS

Here is the problem I have run into: On my old dif, the ABS sensor and the speed sensor are one in the same. by removing ABS I removed my speed sensor.

This is my question: Can I bypass that sensor and run it straight though to the tranny (which is the AOD)? If so, how can I do this.

Here are some pictures of my truck. it's dorpped 10 Inches

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Pete
