Hey I was wondering what kind of doner cars I could use to do a rear disc conversion on a 1989 Ford F-150 4x4 with a Ford 8.8 rear diff.

your not going to be able to get parts for fullsize trucks from donor cars all the disk brake 8.8 rears were on exlporers and mustangs and crown vic cars. and the all have the 4.5" bolt pattern. the trucks are 5.5" bolt pattern,

their are kits out there that you can buy, but they will run you into the 500-600 dollar or more range

***** i just remembered they made a 3/4 ton VAN in the mid to late 90's with a disk brake 10.25 rear axle that will fit in the trucks , so check i'd say 94-00 year 1/2 ton vans and see, but you'll more than likely have to use the complete axle.
