I have a question regarding my alternator. Apparently, it puts out enough charge under a normal load, but under a full load, it doesn't. For example, some times turning my head lights on labors the engine a bit, or my radio shuts off by itself. I am going to replace the alternator, should I get a higher output alternator than the original, or would a higher output alternator do me any more good then the original, thanks |

How good is your battery?
Will your battery accumulate more if you go up on the alt.?
Often its about the battery...
