Truck starts fine but just after startup it idles down and up and the check engine light comes on and if you let it, it will stall out. I have changed the cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires and put on a new egr valve. Once truck gets going it runs fine but the check engine light stays on, sometimes it goes off and the truck gets more power.
Any sugestions of where to go next?

Check the codes. Go to Http://www.fordfuelinjection.com and look at how to check codes. It's real easy.
