I wanted to switch my manual transmision to an automatic, in a 1981 bronco with a 351 w. I was wondering what all I needed to switch and cost?

Check out the "trany questions.." thread and read what gearman has to say. Also you can get every thing you need from a wrecking yard to make it bolt in I've seen more autos than standards maybe you can get a "package price " but make sure you get a warenty on the trany also pull dipstick look for bad smell dark red fluid or a creamy pink these are all bad drop pan before you buy look for alot of goop in pan and or shiny particles thes are also bad. measure your drive shafts crosmember hookups etc..
