‘ 84 AOD – many miles but working perfect. All of a sudden (no speed runs or hard pulling) developed a nasty noise when you put it in drive. Park & neutral are quiet as a mouse. Tranny works fine, shifts fine and noise goes away once up to speed (pressure?). Something happened in between store trips – is there a simple fix? Fluid/filter new and up to spec.
