I have a problem with the interior lights staying on in a 1997 Mercury Sable Wagon. I've checked the shop manuals and the door open sensor is in the door and seems to be working with the door latch, and I belive I located which door latch is not working. What I'm trying to find out, to replace the sensor is it a integral part of the door latch and has to be replaced as a whole or do you just replace the sensor alone?
