I am told that Lincoln can not get replacement bulbs for my 96 Mark VIII that came with a Sylvania HID-9500 low beam bulb as original equipment. Had to spend $ 800.00 + at a dealer in Ga. just to drive home. Now I'm told by my local Lincoln guy that they can no longer get the entire headlight assembly with the bulb in it.
Seems bizzare that Ford doesn't have a fall back plan to supply these bulbs and owners are told to find used bulbs, pay $ 650 on Ebay [for what may or may not be a new one] or bastardize your car with an HID retro-fit kit that's supposed to be as good as original.
