Anyone have this problem?

Has anyone had this problem: I have an '01 King Ranch and when it rains it starts to mis-fire and runs really rough. I think it is water spraying up from the tires and getting into the coils(?). If anyone has had this issue please help!! Thanks!

Check the condition of your spark plug wires. Looking for deterioration that lets them soak up water. Also check all of the connections in the ignition system for tightness and that they are free of corrosion/dirt.
