Thinking Big but not sure

i have and 88 Crown Vic and i want to get a big block the one i was thinking about getting is a 460 short block and building it fuel-injected(i built the stock 302 thats in it now). I was wondering if it would fit, would it sit higher than the 302 if so what kind of hood should i get, and whats the best trans for it. I would appreciate any comments helping and thank you in advance.
