2000 crown vic intake manifold trouble.

Ok the stupid thermastat housing cracked and its all one piece with the intake manifold..
well i baught the book auto zone said to get to help me repair this and well the the 1998 book doesnt cover mine.. lol go figure they swore it would lol.
k i tearthe engine aprt to find a stupid brace located below the wiper motor i cant take out..lol ( I dont know how to get to the bolts..
so any one got a manual they would like to share? on the 2000 crown vic.. it be a big help

Blood and sweat and maybe even some tears. There is a stud with a nut on it on the back side of the head that holds on the bracket at that point and another bolt that is one of the intake mounting bolts. I did the same job on my 2000 cv and removing that bracket took a while to get out. Don't know why its there really and I cut it in half so I didn't have to put the back part on again.
