when it rains hard for a day or so my bronco becomes a mule. it doesnt like to move. it will, but hesitating and stalling all along. i have tried to warm it up and see if that helps but nothing, any suggestions? yeah it has the factory holley. |

check your air filter to see if its moist, do u have a leaky hood (around the edges), is your coil or distributor get wet at all. |

the air filter is as dry as can be. now that everything has dried up the bronco felt normal. dont know what it is. |

If the rubber seal along the rear edge of the hood that's mounted to the cowl is cracked up and leaking, you will get alot of water on the motor. If your distributor cap is cracked, the least bit of moisture inside it will give you the problem you described. If any of the wiring to or from the ignition module gets wet, you can also have stalling problems. A new cowl-to-hood seal is $40 if that's where your water is coming from. |
