Am a proud owner of a 1990 Grand Marquis. Got it from a pilot (who retired), who got it from another pilot (who also retired). In short, am the 3rd owner. Original owner was a canadian who brought his car over here.
In my view, the best traffic-clearing vehicle (after ambulances and police cars) so far. Cause when they see me coming, they clear they way ahead of me. I get full road-respect. Credit it also to the hard metal bumpers (or fenders) this car has. So newer rubberized-bumpered cars (all makes) simply step aside and let me have the road. GREAT!!!!
Another analogy would be...DREADNOUGHTS VS TIN CANS....
