Ok, I have not posted in a LONG time, and that is because my baby has been running beautifully. Now, as I was driving down the freeway, it stalled and would not start back up. Had it towed to the dealership, and $500+ later, they said it was a loose wiring to the computer. Drove another day, and it stalled again. This time it restarted, and I took it back to Ford. After a full day of diagnosis, they said it was the ICP sensor, and needed oil change?? Anyway, they quoted $450, and I told them I wanted my car back, as they had misdiagnosed it the first time. I went ahead and changed the ICP by myself with a dealer part, and now today, it stalled again twice! It restarted both times, and now I have it back home. No codes, or check engine light. Can enyone help out there?

I'm a little late but YES, the CPS. I went through the same thing with a numb skull dealer. As many of them that failed you would think they could figure it out. I had mine towed to another dealer who had it running in 15 min.

I have the 7.3 in my Ex and it would start and drive for a block or so then stall and refuse to start, like it ran out of fuel,, then with either lots of turning over the motor it would start or with the help of starting fluid it would start but then stall in another block or two,,,, this was driving me crazy, so with the help of a mechanic he noticed that it was low on OIL!!!! and asked if I had ever checked it ,,, so with fresh new oil that was the end of that!!!!

this is most likely not your problem but figured this was the place to post another stalling issue..
It really is all about size!!!!!!
