70 Ranchero Alternator Light always on - help?

I have a 1970 Ranchero. The alternator and voltage regulator were replaced about a year ago. Recently I replaced another voltage regulator trying to solve the ALT light always being on - but it's no different - it appears to be charging. Any suggestions?
