Well, I purchased my excursion new back in 2001. But I am new to the site. The transmission was rebuilt a little over a year ago and is starting to worry me again. I noticed that it seemed to be acting weird on the way home tonight. It seemed to be trying to shift erratically while on the highway. Doesn't seem to matter what speed it's going as I noticed it doing the same thing even off the highway. It is an xlt 2wd with 5.4L if that helps. Any suggestions or ideas on what is going on would be great.
