I had my 360 rebuilt by Jasper into a class II competition.
It blew a head gasket at 800 miles.
I put new head gaskets on it and it ran great for about 200 miles.
Out of nowhere it started tapping in the top somewhere.
The longer it runs the louder the tapping gets.
It has a valve rattle under a load such as going uphill.
It will not start when engine is warm.
I know these are all timing related symptoms but........
The distributor is in the right position.
The plug wires are correct.
The ignitor 3 breakerless points are gapped correctly.
What are the other possibilities that would cover all these issues ?????
Car show season is about to start and the weather is getting nice, this truck deserves to get some cruise time. So do I lol
I don\\'t have a lot of time to work on this right now so please ant ideas will help.
Thanks. |
