looking at buying an ex police car.it came from auction and guy said title is clear,but my concern is he said it also has to be tagged as it was ex cop car,so is it any different from tagging a normal car .does it costs more since it's ex goverment issued car

DEPENDS ON THE STATE, I KNOW HERE IN FLORIDA THE TAXES DONT CHANGE. THEY WILL JUST ASK IF IT IS BEING USED FOR POLICE OR PERSONAL. YOUR INSURANCE IS THE MAIN FACTOR, MAY BE A LITTLE HIGHER. THE STATE DOESN'T CARE EITHER WAY.
