My Cruise Control does not function.

Hello guys, I'm new to the site, I have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. It has 61,000 original miles and is excellent condition. I have had the car two weeks and after the first week the Cruise Control went out relays and fuses are good, what next?

I've had, and still have actually, what could be a similar problem. When I press the horn for too long a fuse blows and the horn and cruise control both don't work. Is this your problem?
