Cleaned multi-switch, had the LCM gone through, fuses are all good. Flashers work but high beams do not. airbag warning light flashes but not constantly.

Got the signals working, but still no high beams. Checking fuses then bulbs.

Sounds to me like a short or broken electrical path. Some of these are a PITA to figure out. I know this isn't much help, but it's so hard to track something like this down.

1997 Crown Victoria P71 SVT *** ex-US Marshall service (the CAR)
STOCK?? I bet it was modified.

13.26 @ 107.24 MPH 1/4 mi w/ me, tools, & full tank of 93 octane

I added CAI, NICHE 19 X 8.5 " wheels with 245/45ZR 19 rubbers, and completely rebuilt the front end with poly bushings, Kooks headers, 2 1/4inch exhaust, TCI 2200-2400 rpm Stall converter

.PLANS:: engine upgrade, 5.4L 2v stroker, rebuild interior in leather w/ buckets, thinking about turbos

Anther thing could be the blinker assembly in the steering wheel.

Yep, found the cut wires at the high beam lamps. Now just have to figure out how to tie them back in. Thanks, Brian

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A RETIRED CHICAGO PD 2003 CROWN VIC POLICE INTERCEPTOR AND THE HIGH BEAMS DID NOT WORK.. I REPLACED THE MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH BUT NO HELP. THEN UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION I FOUND 3 CUT WIRES STUFFED BEHIND THE WINDSHIELD WASHER RESERVOIR..LEADING FROM THE HEADLIGHTS. 2 GREEN AND 1 RED.. ALSO AT THE FIREWALL ( BETWEEN THE MASTER CYLINDER AND THE FENDER ) THERE WAS 3 CUT WIRES.. 2 GREEN AND 1 RED.. ALONG WITH 2 GREY ONES? ( I FIGURE THE GREY ONES WAS FOR A SIREN ! ) I SPLICED THESE GREEN AND RED WIRES BACK TOGETHER AND THEN MY HIGHBEAMS WOULD FLASH LIKE A POLICE CAR .. I FOUND A FLASHER TUCKED UP UNDER THE DASH ON THE DRIVER SIDE LEFT OF THE BRAKE PEDAL.. (EASY TO LOCATE WHILE THE HEADLIGHTS ARE FLASHING) I MADE A JUMPER WIRE WITH 2 TERMINALS GOING INTO 1 AND PLUGGED IT IN WHERE I HAD REMOVED THE FLASHER.. AND MY HIGH BEAMS HAVE WORKED PROPERLY SINCE.. I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE BECAUSE THERE SEEMS TO BE ALOT OF THESE CARS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM
