It's me again, is their any parts of any year mustang that are the same as the 93 GM? Anything will help, or any type of mustang swap will be useful! Thanx |

The basic engine/transmission are the same between CV/GM and Mustangs each year up to the 2004s. And I do mean basic (block, heads, cases). The intakes open to the passenger side on mustangs, and on the driver side on CV/GM. The auto trans are set up for the particular model.
If you want to do a mustang engine, trans swap into a cv/gm, make sure you research everything you can beforehand on the net. People have put HOT mustang engines/trans into the CV/GM with great results, but when you start researching the problems that had to get them to work right, it may discourage you. But by them posting how they did it and what errors that had to correct, it will make your swap a lot easier.
RESEARCH! RESEARCH!! REASEARCH
It will save you lots of headaches.
