So tonight I was driving my 2005 Ford Crown Vic P71, on a dark road with all my lights on the street had no street lights then after getting to my destination I turned off the lights and car then when I returned I found that the parking lights went on but both the low beams and high beam headlights were not working, I looked over the fuses, but they all tested good, any suggestions?
Thank you, please help me soon with your comments.. |

iT COULD BE THE SWITCH ,LIGHTING CONTROL MODULAR OR BOTH BULBS WENT OUT . I WOULD START WITH A LIGHT TESTER AND START CHECKING IN WIRES FROM THE SWITCH TO THE BULB. |

Could this really be, as the car is only 5 years old, I thought maybe a fuse or something simple?? No?? If i take it to a mechanic can they trace it down pretty fast? |

Definitely the LCM [lighting control module] and one of its relays. If you can't find the relays, or don't feel comfortable soldering, then you can pull the LCM and send it to Airbags [on eBay] and they will repair it for $53.00 [permanent repair]. Note: car won't come out of park without LCM in place...so, you'll have to wait a few days to use the car. |
