hello everyone i need some help on finding aa electric fuel pump that fits my car...it's an 84 ltd crown victoria with a 5.0...
my fuel pump went out and i wanted to know if there is any place where i can get a fuel pump for cheap? i've tried napa,autozone and kragens so far...those are the only auto parts stores closest to me and they want $90 to $150 and i dont have that much money...i was gonna try a junkyard but i dont think they will be any good cause they have been sitting for a long time...maybe some place online that i can get one cheap?
i was also thinking maybe i could not use the electric fuel pump and change it to a mechanical fuel pump if thats possible...
i took the pump out of the tank and tested it with the car battery and it wants to turn but it doesnt sounds like its stuck...well thanks for any help i get
