Ive been wanting to convert my 1972 ranchero gt into a manual, my fellow hot rodder friends say its totally doable but finding the right parts might be hard.

Pretty much i was wondering if anyone has done this and what they did/use to make this possible,

the idea i have is using the T-5 tranny out of a 5.0 foxbody, ive lined it up with one of my cleveland blocks lying around and it all bolts up with the 5.0 bell housing, only thing im stumped it what clutch to use and what about drive shaft lengt?? also what vehicle can i take the clutch and brake pedals out of that'll work?

any info would work, and if you live nearby and might have some parts i could buy that i need itll be much appreicited,

Hi Mike,
The conversion is not only do-able but is a relatively easy one to accomplish.
I\\'d suggest you ask this question at the Ranchero.US forum site.
You\\'ll get a better response from other Ranchero owners who can also guide you to parts sources and steer you away from any potential problems.
