1995 Crown vic starting issue

Hello! I drive a 1995 Crown vic with 159k on it. On the way home from work this morning, the car stalled out, then restarted. Drove a few miles and the same thing happened. It stalled out a third time and it would turn over but not catch. I did notice 3 beeps coming from the glove compartment area. I am not sure if this means anything or not. Am I right in thinking fuel pump or should I be thinking of something else entirely? This is a daily driver so a rapid response would be very much appreciated. Its cold up there right now. Could be bad gas (water in the gas), fuel pump going out, or partly frozen fuel line. I 'ld check for fuel problems first. Then going into searching for other problems.

.PLANS:: engine upgrade, 5.4L 2v stroker, rebuild interior in leather w/ buckets, thinking about turbos
