91 crownvic 5.0 302 transmission hard-switching/banging into overdrive while cruising..but when i am gathering speed at a fast pace the overdrive kicks in normal or allot more smoother.but by then im at around 60 plus mph.when at 45 to 50 mph, give or take a few mph, if i VERY slightly ease off the gas and SLIGHTLY but quickly press gas again the OD switches alot better... if i do it right, it will swith perfectly! Im on my second tranny..the first 1 did the same exact thing.. took it to the shop and the guy adjusted the TV CABLE..it switched better and he said it was good but i knew it wasnt all the way rite..though it switched alot better..i didnt bother it after that..so, the tranny went out a year later..i got another frim a junkyard and the guy promised me it worked.. me n my buddy put it in..take a guess!! 2nd tranny doing same exact thing! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS? ive tryed adjusting the TV CABLE to many different settings and i got it set to where its better but it doesnt seem to be rite! am i missing something? Would my speedometer being off by a little have somethig to do with it? ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP....
