Hey everyone,

I recently (as in only about a week ago) purchased a 2004 Black Interceptor with around 123XXX miles and a few blemishes. It has done fine in the short time I've drove it, but today after a decent snowfall I couldn't even get the thing out of the driveway. Reverse kicked the car back just fine, but trying to park on the other side of the driveway was a no go from the beginning. There was snow, but it shouldn't have kept the car totally still. The drivers side wheel, I noticed, wasn't even spinning. It just stayed in place and made a slight ticking sound. The passenger side wheel was doing all the work, which in the end was doing nothing more than wasting gas because I just sat there spinning one wheel. I called a local shop here and told them of the problem and they said that it was a normal thing. How could that be? Police dont stop driving when snow is on the ground, and if I couldn't even move forward on a nearly flat driveway something cannot be right.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

.....sounds normal......you need a limited-slip differential .....or......jackup the spinning wheel and throw some gravel under the tire to give it some traction......

Normal...that's how a rear end works.

Maybe you need to back the parking brake off a bit,
