First, you should get yourself a copy of the Haynes manual for the CV. There are some wiring diagrams in the back of the book that will give you a good idea of what to expect. Also, you may want to go to the Helm auto manual site and order yourself the Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual from them.

Yea, I know its an expense, but if you plan on keeping the car for more than a couple of years, its worth it. Figure its about $100 of advice you own, and can help someone else out.
