I am thinking about getting the disel excursion but wanted to know how disel worked in the cold? I love to go snow skiing. Any help?

I live in Michigan, we get a fair amount of snow / ice, and my 2003 Excursion, 6.0 Deisel 4X4 does very good. Honestly with all the snow we have had this year I only had to resort to 4X4 a few times, it actually does well in the snow, it is a heavy truck that may help also. But I personally would highly recommend getting one. You'll find yourself on top of the world.
