as of 30 minutes ago my car up and quit, it was running good, I trying cranking it and it seems not to be getting any gas, so i check my relays under the hood and the reset switch in the trunk and everything looks good. When i go to crank my car i always listen to the fuel pump, and when i turn it then i hear it making a diffrent noise like its sucking but no gas is getting threw? Any thoughts to it could be, I just join the website because i always find some good answers on here, and i did check my computer and its not giving out any codes.

...a quick thought would be to check the fuel filter...

...when was the last time the fuel filter was checked or changed...?

...then of course...have you checked the OBD2 codes...?

...On my 1991 Lincoln TC 4.2L...I had starting issues....after a long journey (trying to figure it out)...it was the "TPS" (throttle position switch)....

...Many of my OBD1 codes were "false positive" until I replace the TPS...then it started quickly, idled smoothly...plenty of power...

Hope these suggestion are of some help...

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? It could be clogged up. If you are not hearing the "buzz" of the fuel pump, it is possible for the pump to have died. Any other noises could mean the fuel line ruptured/broke/disconnected someplace and you are sucking air. I had one I worked on where the hose connecting the pump to the carrier had disconnected (someone just pushed them on with no clamps). It was pumping fuel, but the gas was falling back into the tank. For the amount of work we did, I had them replace the pump.

Check for OBD codes. Then do a Google search for the codes. Sometimes the OBD code is general and not related to the actual problem. I kept getting codes for a "bad O2 sensor" when it was actually a vacuum leak.

( jdmeaux - wizzard 1222) Update- I changed the fuel filter the old wasnt clogged but i changed it anyway, There is a reset button in the trunk for the fuel pump and when i pressed it down it came back up so i took it off and it was burnt, so the part cannot be order from a retail store so for right now made my own breaker, and the fuel pump is still making the same noise like its sucking air, so im not able to drop the tank Due to rain, but i think the pump is clogged or something, and i know the fuel safety switch has pop up on me a few times before be cause of my system, and the fuel pump in there is 3 years old it only had a one year warrantee and its making a craxy sound but i just gonna go ahead and replace it, and the only codes showing up are for 2 of my converts, it was for of them on there and i had to cut off for my flowmasters 3 years ago so i already know what they mean.
