Anyone have any experiences or recommendations to purchasing an after warranty vehicle protection plan?

purchased my Excursion on Ebay Motors... and it came with a 90 Day warranty, one like you are speaking of. Here is what is a must know before you purchase a plan...
A) There are many different levels of coverage.
B) You have to call the Insurer and ask if you can repair what is damaged.
C) The insurer determines the type of replacement part.
D) The insurer pays only "X" amoount in hourly labor charges, anything over is on YOU !
E) Some parts / Systems (such as drivetrain & a/c) are not covered under certain plans (see A)
