86 F-150 4 speed man

My tranny went into 2 different gears i dropped the tranny took the top off and put the tranny shifter in neutral put it all back together but the tranny is still in 2 gears I would like to know how and where the gears in the tranny should be too put it in neutral a diagram would be nice
