I have had grandmas 1991 vic for two years now.The car was not driven much did alot of time in the garage. So far I have had to replace..Trany 2xs( the first time I got raped),replaced steering box, radiator ,water pump, and now I have to replace the oil filter gasket to the block. I love the car and am hoping all this stuff is from the car sitting so long. What do you guys think? I would like to know if there is any thing I need to know about chaning this gasket. I know you have to drain the oil and coolant, but what about getting to the bolts? any tricks I need to know or is it strait forward? Should I get the gasket from Ford? All your info has been a blessing so far thanks for all your help!
I replaced the fule pump too.I\\'ll put up some pic next time this car is great. I drive 140miles a day 5days a week could not ask for a better highway ride .Any way thanks again.
