hi i'm new here but i think i have a wiring problem. yesterday i was driving down the road and i turned on my lights and the dash lights was bright as head lights so i truned them off real fast. right after that i smelled something like wires burning and then it just dies and wouldn't start back. i check everything under the hood and under the dash and can't see nothing that looks like burnt wires or anything. i found one blowed 15 amp fuse i replaced that. then it acted like the battery was dead i know it was a new battery so i jumped it off and it would turn over but not start. well today i repalced the rotory cap, button, distributor, and coil like my machanic told me to do and it still will not start. i tested the coil and i am getting 12 volts threw it where the plug wire plugs up but still nothing coming out to the spark plug wire to the plugs. i also retimed it when i replaced the distibutor like the book said to do and still not getting anything. can any one please help me please i hate to junk this truck because of this problem.
