I have a 1993 Ford Bronco 5.8L, My fuel pump relay went out, so I bought 2 new ones and before I got my new parts. I took out the top relay and put it in the fuel relay spot and the bad one in the top spot, It started to run bad like rev up to 1500 rpm then back to 900. The engine light started to come on and off, so I thought that top spot was for the EEC power relay. To make a long story short when I got the new relays I put them in right away then it ran fine now my engine light stays on all the time I disconnected the batt. thinking it would reset computer, but the light still stays on. The only other thing I did was my ABS light stayed on all the time (tried to get a flash code for it but gave up) So I put a burned out light in its place, Do you think this might have caused my engine light problem? If so do I have to pull dash apart again to put a new bulb in it then I have to deal the with annoying light till I figure it out. Thanks for any help...
